  11. E.V.A Due to the outbreak in 1993 of Equine Viral Artritis it will now be a condition of Holme Grove Farm that all mares from "at risk areas" be bloodtested for EVA prior to arrival at stud, and results advised. Please discuss this with Holme Park Stud before bringing your mare to stud. This is for your mares protection as well as ours.

Holme Park Stud will endeavour to take all possible safety precautions with a visiting mare but no responsibility can be taken for accident or disease howsoever caused. The mare owner gives consent to Holme Park Stud, to authorize Veterinary assistance, that is not of a gynaecological nature, if we feel it is a necessary course of action for the well being of the mare, which will be chargeable to the owner. All mares are served at their owner's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, damage or loss caused through scanning, trying or serving any mare.   Should it become dangerous to any of our staff, our stallions or your mare to attempt to cover your mare we reserve the right to refuse to handle the mare and you will be requested to collect her.  Your stud fee will be refunded less a handling fee for work carried out and livery charges to date.

It helps us to have as much warning as possible of your mares expected date of arrival at Holme Grove Farm.
