Hi Susan,
Re: HG Merlin - Starting to Dance!

I hope all is well.  Holme Grove Merlin has just had his 10th birthday and his coat is getting darker!

On Friday 7th May Merlin came 1st at Ardingly in the Medium freestyle to music qualifier with 69%.

He also came 2nd in the PSG with 69% Unfortumately only the winner qualified!

He has just been to another Arthur Kottas lesson where he impressed everyone with his development although he now trys to avoid the simple movements!

Mick Green

Merlin, with some help from Debby Lush and support from Nikki is doing the business.
At his last outing
– Belmoredean 19/05/04 Medium 75Q  same marks as Andrew Gould but lost out on collectives. 69.19%

Then he did Advanced Medium 94 and won with 71.18% beating several serious players. (he is now qualified for the summer regionals at Advanced Medium)

We trust all is well please pass on our congratulations to Ella & the rest of the family …… nice pictures of the kittens

Mick & Nikki Green

Hi Mick

Great news at the continued good results from Holme Grove Merlin.  It is so rewarding to us as breeders when our 'babies' do well.  Obviously a big part of them doing well is the home they go too and the opportunity they get to have a good rider so we are grateful to you for giving him this opportunity to achieve his potential.

Kindest regards
Susan

Susan,

Thanks for that, I will pass this on to Debby & Nikki. I have some more news but Nikki has the details so I will complete the following info later. Merlin won 2 Medium classes @ Oldencraig 27/05/04 so is now qualified for some championships. After his first outing in the PSG Freestyle to music he has received a wildcard qualification to the championships at Wellington on 16 June; not bad for a first PSG outing.

At this rate we will have to bring him up to see his Dad and to tell him that even if you are "not so tall" (quote from Arthur Kottas) you can still move like a champion as can be seen in the attached picture.
