Holme Park Versace and Holme Grove Coleus were both excellent today on their first dressage outing. They did not put a foot wrong and were calm in the show environment. Versace had to cope with pouring rain. (27/4/08) You can see more details of these two youngsters on our for sale page

Cider Making at Holme Trakehners October 2007. The apples were collected from the orchard at Holme Grove Farm and then a family effort to prepare the cider. It has now just completed first fermentation.

Holme Park Legend in PAVO 4yo Championship ridden by Sarah Bullimore. Scored 25 in dressage and 4 penalties in Show jumping then clear Cross Country finishing on a score of 29, he just lost his place in the top 10 and finished 15th out of 45 qualifiers. We were very proud of them, he looked stunning and was beautifully behaved!

Holme Park Fortius - see here the progress of backing from being
lunged with "Boris" our weighted dummy and then ridden on the lunge with a
rider and finally ridden off the lunge. He has been a copy book horse
to bring under saddle as he is so easy and uncomplicated. The photos

These 3 year olds have been prepared for backing by lunging and long-reining over the past few weeks and are now getting used to the weighted dummy before having a rider on them.
Hack 17_9_06 HG Castellene, HG Bonjour (with his new owner Peter) and HG DeVinci. They went for a wonderful gallop across the fields but unfortunately my camera batteries went flat!
