Holme Park Fortius Bay gelding was born in 2003  by Holme Grove Prokofiev out of the  mare Holme Park Fantine.  He is owned by Andrea Pavet-Golding and went to live at Northbrook Equestrian Centre in September 2007

PM Holme Grove Cleopatra This beautiful bay mare by Holme Grove Istanbul out of SPS Holme Grove Cordula has been a broodmare in the herd all her life and has had 11 foals.  At the age of 17 she was retired from breeding but still being fit and healthy she was backed and has proved a wonderful riding horse.  She has been purchased by the Pavet-Golding family for hacking and is loving her new life.

Hello Susan,

Thought I would email you to give an update on the progress of Fortius.

He has settled down very well at our equestrian centre, and loves watching the lessons in the indoor school from the comfort of his stable.

He has settled into some nice work, but I keep reminding myself that he is only 4! I have enjoyed hacking him out alongside Holme Park Cleopatra, who is good steady company out riding and I have also hacked him out alone, where he was a very brave boy. He has now been introduced to the comforts of wearing rugs and quite likes being snug as a bug.

Fortius is still that very friendly little chap that does love a cuddle and a fuss and maintains his sensitivity. He is a very special little horse.

Also to let you know that Cleopatra is well and happy. She is taking things steady and gets hacked out about three times a week with the odd bit of schooling thrown in. Lots of people here seem to really like her kind nature and big sparkly eyes. Mind you, she does like to flirt with the boys a little!

Hope all the horses are well at the stud and I really enjoy looking at your website.

Kind regards

Andrea Pavet-Golding - Northbrook Equestrian Centre
