Peter has made a fantastic start
with Holme Grove Prokofiev, having taken him out twice to Addington Manor he
won the Medium Qualifier for the Summer Regionals 2004 after only two weeks
riding him and on his second outing a week later to the Midlands Winter Semi
Finals he qualified Holme Grove Prokofiev for the Medium Open Winter
Championships. The following two write-ups appeared in Horse and Hound
on 26th February 2004

PETER Storr and his striking stallion Wild Dancer, last
winter's medium open champion, had a confident 70% win in the advanced
medium at Addington Manor. The cocmbination has now qualified for the
summer regional championships and is free to concentrate on small tour
classes.
"Peter's was easily the best presented test and exactly what you might
expect from a rider of that calibre. It was fluent, mistake-free and
the horse was in good self-carriage," said judge Ann Nicell. "I also liked
the second placed horse, Nemo III, ridden by Lisa Hopkins, as if showed
great promise and there's a lot more to come."
The Medium qualifier also went to Peter, this time riding Julia Wetton's
Holme Grove Prokofiev on their first outing together. Julia, who
trains with Peter is expecting a baby so handed the ride to him.
"He has a lovely temperament and is a very sensible ride, so this outing has
been about getting to know each other in the arena," said Peter. "

...Peter Storr gave the eye-catching stallion Holme Grove
Prokofiev a good ride in the medium open to take second place. He took
over the reins only three weeks ago from Julia Wetton, who is on maternity
leave.
"This is a surprise pregnancy because after our eldest child, who is now 13
was born, my husband contracted cancer and we were told there would be no
more children," explained Julia.
"Peter and I were students together at Catherston so I know him well"......
