We had lost touch with Balderick so were thrilled when we received this email!  My sister Julia still owns Eiros Annie and she is ridden by Julia's daughter Ella.

Hello,  I own the above pony Holme Grove Balderick, stable name "Spongey", and found your website with a beautiful picture of his stunning sire.  I wondered if you could give me any information regarding my pony's mother.  She is/was a welsh pony Sec. B I think called Eiros Annie bred by H E Roberts.  Spongey was born on 10/06/1991 and his registration number is TBFPB297/94.
 
I have searched the Welsh pony websites and googled the breeder and the name but cannot find anything.
 
I would be very grateful if you have any information as Spongey is my daughter's much loved pony.  I attach a couple of photos of Spongey for you, he does everything from driving to Pony Club.
