She was originally going to be sold after two foals but after breeding such exceptional progeny we decided to keep her in the herd to retain the bloodlines of both Holme Grove Istanbul and Lady Arwa. Her foals are all proving to be real athletes with outstanding temperaments.
Sadly Holme Grove Liebe became suddenly ill and had to be PTS on 30th May 2007. This left her 8 week old filly as an orphan. Liebe had appeared lethargic for a couple of days but no temperature but suddenly she appeared to loose her balance and co-ordination and within a matter of hours went off her feet. Not wanting her to suffer she was put to sleep. Bloods were tested from her and another near contact horse to make sure nothing contagious and thankfully these results for any virus were negative although this does not give us any more news on what happend to poor Liebe.
