This stunning mare by Champion Stallion Bartholdy was graded in Germany with the very rare score of '10' for Type. She was Champion mare of the Central Mare grading in Traventhal on 30th April 1988. She was first imported to UK by Jo Neal & Tino Passetti where she bred her first 7 foals.
She was purchased from Jo Neal in 1997 in the year that Pascal came on loan to Holme Grove Farm. Her first foal born at Holme Grove Farm, Holme Grove Cappuccino was exported to Canada where she has been Premium graded with the ATA scoring 57 points and has been awarded the Prestigious "Model Mare" Status is now breeding to the Holme Grove Solomon Graded son Holme Park Vincent. Her other daughters Capricio was also awarded a Premium with 54 points in 2002
Sadly Copelia died 24th March 2003 36 hours after giving birth to a stunning bay colt Holme Grove Cedrus by HP Krug. She had a massive internal heamorrage.
