Holme Grove Ballerina

An interesting combination of line-breeding to Flaneur which has proved a great success. A prolific breeder of outstanding progeny that all have an outstanding trainability and temperament as well as stunning movement. Her more recent foals by Holme Grove Prokofiev are showing particularly outstanding elasticity and power of movement. This line bred mare has become one of our most important broodmares.

We very sadly had to have Ballerina PTS 7th April 2003, she aborted her foal 2 days before and retained the afterbirth and despite repeated oxytocin treatments and strong antibiotics the infection became too bad and we did not want her to suffer. This is a great loss to our herd as she produced some outstanding progeny. At least we still have the bloodline with HG Barbarella
