HG Donauwoge was due to foal to HP Krug on 31st March 2001, Today is 5th May and she is over a month overdue! If you read our news article at the end of last year (click hear to see the article) you will know that Donauwoge underwent major colic surgery in October 2000 and we very nearly lost her. We were amazed when she pulled through and had held onto her foal ! Having given us the most amazing filly by Holme Park Krug last year, Holme Grove Devaux who went on to be TBF Champion Foal 2000 and featured on our 2000 Christmas Card, we are very much looking forward to seeing what she produces this year. She is however determined to keep us in suspense as long as possible. After being so poorly she is look really great again and has returned to her former condition as you can see from the photo. We will obviously make an announcement on this website as soon as she decides it is time to bring her foal into the world. We have had the vet check her and everthing is OK and we are reluctant to induce her. Fingers crossed everything is OK and we receive a live healthy foal.

At last , 40 days late Donna has had the most beautiful black
filly to be called Holme Grove Dior.
She was born at 14.15pm Thursday 10th May 2001. Out in the field on
a wonderful sunny afternoon.
